Constructed of highly conductive Thunderon® fibers, TAKK Anti-Static FlexCord utilizes thousands of conductive micro points to create an ionizing field that eliminates static charges from moving surfaces.
FlexCord will stretch to 100% its length allowing for precise positioning and avoiding snags with materials or objects that accidently come in contact with the cord.
Strong and lightweight, the FlexCord will not oxidize and become less conductive, providing a long service life. It is a self-energizing static eliminator which does not spark, and can be used in hazardous locations.
The FlexCord should be placed across the surface to be neutralized and grounded to bare metal on the machine. FlexCord can be placed on either side of the affected surface in contact with or near the surface.
Available in 32.5 ft roll. Magnet Mounting kits also available for metal surface mounting.
Typical Applications include plastic, paper, textile webs, digital printers, paper folders, printing presses, conveyors, extruding, sheeting, slitting, winding, coating, carding, slashing, warping, computers, and duplicators.
